Catalyst Incubator

Welcome to the RPI Catalyst Incubator Program. Interested in developing your idea and exploring its commercial potential? RPI's Catalyst Incubator walks innovators through the earliest stages of startup development.

The Catalyst Incubator is extra-curricular and all current RPI undergraduate students, graduate students, post-docs, faculty and staff can apply to be a part of a cohort.  The Catalyst Incubator is a bootcamp-style experiential learning program comprised of weekly workshops for 10 weeks. The Severino Center staff and industry experts lead the hands-on workshops. The Catalyst Incubator runs three times per year: spring, summer, and fall.

Topics include: Stakeholder analysis, customer discovery, due diligence, market sizing, benchmarking, competitor analysis, product differentiation, competitive advantage, revenue modeling, customer acquisition, preparing and delivering a pitch, and intellectual property.

There are a limited number of seats in every cohort, so interested students, faculty, and staff must apply for this competitive program. Join the Severino Center’s mailing list to receive notification as to when the application window opens for each cohort.

The Catalyst Incubator Program is run by RPI's Severino Center for Technological Entrepreneurship. For additional information, contact severinocenter@rpi.edu or reach out to Eric Ledet (ledete@rpi.edu) or Randy Stewart (stewak4@rpi.edu).
